Befriend Nature With Garden Bird Feeders

Feed your flying friends with style using the best garden bird feeders and add beauty to your yard all at the same time!   I love feeding the birds.   Some days, I simply enjoy sitting in my backyard watching them eat, bath, or bask in the sun.   Bird feeders are the best way to attract avians to any garden, green house or backyard and I personally have several that I keep loaded with sunflower seeds and food for my guests.

Having our feathered friends in our yards can be very beneficial.   Some birds, like hummingbirds, can help pollinate your plants to make them bloom with flowers.   Others eat insects that could be detrimental to your garden such as aphids, Japanese beetles and even pesky mosquitoes.   Would you believe there are some that can eat hundreds of bugs a day?

Aside from horticultural benefits, they are simply fun watch.   So, keep them coming to your outdoor haven by grabbing one of these feeders today.

  1. What is the best type of bird feeder? | March 2, 2015
  1. Bird feeders, and the ‘visitors’ they bring, always provide delightful entertainment just watching the birds in one’s yard. Interesting to see how many varieties and kinds of feeders there are available. Love that cute squirrel birdfeeder — sort of a turnabout ‘take’ on the squirrels who try and rob birdfeeders! 🙂

  2. Wow, what a great collection of bird feeders! I love the Red Barn, it’s really cute. Mom has feeders out and we get a kick out of watching the squirrels get to them – those rascals will go to great lengths to get to a bird feeder! It’s relaxing to watch birds fly to the feeder and eat. When I’m visiting in the spring and summer it’s a nice way to unwind – sit in the chair that gives a great view of that feeder and just watch nature in action!

I love these feeders. I’d like to have one of each. We just got our first snow the other day. And even though I’m concerned about the mess, I put out a “plate” with a suet block and some loose seed on it. I’m pretty sure that my downstairs neighbors would be upset but a feeder. But a plate might work out well. I”m sure the birds will come… they’ve already been on my balcony, pecking away at the remains of my container garden.
